Refund Policy

 

At Lexi Reeds, we are committed to delivering high-quality book editing services tailored to each client’s needs. Due to the nature of editorial work, the following refund policy applies:

 

1. No Refunds After Work Has Commenced
Once editing work has begun on your manuscript, refunds are not available. This is because time, expertise, and resources are immediately invested into your project upon commencement.

 

2. Deposits Are Non-Refundable
Any upfront deposit paid to secure your spot is non-refundable. Deposits ensure your place in our schedule and compensate for time reserved for your project.

 

3. Refunds Prior to Project Start
If you cancel your booking before any work has started, you may be eligible for a partial refund, excluding the non-refundable deposit (if applicable).

 

4. Satisfaction & Revisions
We aim to provide a service you’re happy with. If you are not satisfied with the initial edit, you may request reasonable revisions within the agreed scope of work. Refunds will not be issued based on subjective dissatisfaction, but we will work with you to address concerns.

 

5. Scope Changes
If the scope of the project changes after work has begun (e.g., significant manuscript additions), additional fees may apply. These changes do not qualify for refunds of previous payments.

 

6. Exceptional Circumstances
Refund requests due to exceptional circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.
